While these benefits are great news, they come with potential trade-offs. The cost of these changes will be borne by drug manufacturers and Medicare plan companies, which may result in projected cuts to Medicare plan benefits.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR YOU?

We’re not entirely sure yet, but all Medicare Advantage companies and drug manufacturers have warned that cutbacks are coming. Specific changes to your plan will be communicated to you by October 1st.

HOW CAN I HELP YOU?

As your broker, I’ll be informed of these changes earlier, but I’m not allowed to discuss them until October 1st. By then, I’ll have a clear understanding of the changes and their implications for you, enabling me to help you interpret and navigate these updates more efficiently.

Beware of False Promises: Medicare has warned that some will try to lure you with promises that seem too good to be true. Before believing these claims, please call me. Many will prey on your confusion with empty promises.

I want to reassure you that most of you will end up staying on your current plan, as the changes will similarly impact all plans. Just stay in touch and stay informed!
